Contemporary Cuban Art
Reinaldo Camejo de las Casas was born in Havana, Cuba in the year 1952. In 1980, he graduated as a painter at the San Alejandro School of the Arts.
His work reflects the Cuban rural landscape, rich with the feeling of tradition and an atmosphere of sanctuary. He has also developed a series of landscapes with clear influence from Abstract Expressionism.
Reinaldo’s work has been exhibited in the great museums of Cuba such as the Cuban Fine Art Museum and in different countries of Latin America and in Spain. In Cuba, his paintings can be found in private collections and public buildings. His work has been purchased by private collectors in the United States, Spain, Mexico, Canada, France, Puerto Rico, Peru, Italy, Argentina, Poland, Russia, Chile and China.
