Contemporary Cuban Art
Manuel Almagro Urrutia was born in Villa Clara, Cuba on December 19, 1931. He is a painter who graduated from the San Alejandro School of Art in 1958. He later graduated from the National School of Visual Design.
His art is a combination of Surrealism, Abstract, Urban Landscape and Portraits. He works out of his humble home in La Havana.
His work has been featured in exhibitions in Moscow, Russia; Santo Domingo, Domincan Republic and Madrid, Spain. His paintings are also displayed inside the Embassies of Vietnam, Mongolia, Costa Rica and Bulgaria in Havana, Cuba.
